Implementing A Successful Project
It is important to get the kids excited about anything they do.
School schedule is important cuz if you are dong your unit over a holiday you will need to allow more time.
Groups are varied. They can be large or small groups. Just as long as the groups are working together, they can be any size.

Self Directed Learners
Self Directed Learners are in every classroom. Some students are self learners by nature and some have to have more directions. The teacher is there to guide the learning. I know that I don't use this technique as much as I should. But I am learning.

Assessment
Students can assess what each other have learned but I feel that it is more of a learning tool than an assessment. They learn from each other just as much as they learn from the teacher or even books.
I don't do as much of student assessing as I should.
This is a challenge for me and I am sure that I am not the only one that has this issue.

Module 4 Reflection
How can technology be used most effectively
to support and assess student learning?
Technology is wonderful for assessing especially when the students don't know they are being assessed. They think they are playing games and doig fun stuff, but you as the teacher can set the game to assess what the students are learning.

Internet in the class
Internet in the class is a tough topic. I can understand having it in a computer lab setting but in the classroom is a different story. It is hard to monitor what is being taught and what is going on in the class. I know that the internet is a useful tool, but what I feel might be acceptable and what the parents think might be an entirely different idea.

Welcome to the Cottonwood Essentials Hybrid Blog Site
What is a blog. Blogs, short for weblogs, are used to share information and opinions with readers and to solicit feedback and discussion. They often take the form of a journal and are regularly updated with new entries.
You will be creating a blog to serve as a record of your learning as we go through the various modules. Reflect on the the focus of Modules 1 & 2 and blog about how it has helped you plan and create your unit.
Please answer the following questions: How can Curriculum-Framing Questions help support my students' learning? How can I plan ongoing student-centered assessment?
